This Megazord was ultimately upgraded into becoming the Thunder Megazord following the arrival of Lord Zedd to combat his vastly more powerful monsters. ![]() But the Megazord did have one crippling weakness, it's reliance on solar energy,but can be overcame by using the power sword to give itself an energy boost and continuing to battle When in battle mode, it becomes a giant robot, that ultimately battled Rita's monsters with it's most powerful weapon, the power sword. The original Megazord possessed a tank mode, with which is would assume before assuming it's battle mode. The Original Megazord from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was formed by the Dinozords. TV Show Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Dino Megazord Dino Megazord The Turtle Megazord made its first appearance in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #5. The Turtle Megazord might look like a giant-sized Metal Head. Piloted by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (and April O'Neil) when they temporarily became Power Rangers to battle giant-sized Bebop and Rocksteady, The Shredder's mutant duo henchmen. The Solarix Megazord made its first appearance in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #39. This Megazord has the power to rip a whole in the fabric of space and time, allowing travel between realities. Piloted primarily by the Solar Ranger, the Solarix Megazord is made out of pure Morphin Grid energy and has the capability to split into six individual Zords for air combat. The Mechazord makes its first appearance in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #21. It is also one of the very few Megazords that are not powered via the Morphin grid. Unlike many other Megazord's in which they are constructed by a team's mentor or are summoned through magic, this Zord was built by Grace Sterling's science team on the Promethea. The Mechazord is Grace Sterling's personal Megazord. Typhonis makes its first appearance in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Pink #2. The Megazord is made up of the remains of the second generation Zords and Goldar's original Megazord, Cyclopsis. Mega-Gravezord made its first appearance in Saban's Go Go Power Rangers #12. The Mega-Gravezord is a Megazord combination of Gravezord and the Dino Megazord. Gravezord made it's first appearance in Saban's Go Go Power Rangers #9. While not stated what Zords it is comprised of, the following can be seen: The Gravezord also has the power of teleportation. Through the Ranger Slayer's own modifications, she can control the Gravezord remotely allowing her to speak through it and see what it see's. The Megazord is constructed out of the remains of the Zords that have fallen to her and Lord Drakkon. Piloted by the Ranger Slayer, a version of Kimberley from the World of the Coinless. Comic Exclusive Megazords Gravezord Gravezord In the Beetleborgs crossover, the Turbo Megazord was shown to combine with their vehicles to create a completely new Megazord. ![]() They usually aren't shown for long, other than for a fast monster battle. The only Megazords that have been shown in comics are the original Megazord, the Thunder Megazord, the Ninja Megazord, the Zeo Megazord, and the Turbo Megazord.
